Mission:
Our mission is to train the human resource in Microbiological and Biotechnological techniques which is the need of the day for the multispeciality hospitals, Bio-tech industry, Agro-tech industry and Research Institutes/Universities. Through emphasis on an effective pedagogical strategies, we intend to teach, train and supervise young minds so that they can develop skills to address the problems being faced in different walks of life. The ultimate aim is to serve the humanity.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Shaheed Udham Singh College of Research and Technology was founded in 2009 by Desh Bhagat Memorial Educational Trust with the mission of defining and establishing a new discipline fusing life sciences with engineering. This college offers postgraduate programmes in M.Sc. Biotechnology & Microbiology and under graduate programmes in B. Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Human Genetics and Industrial Microbiology. These are job oriented courses in the field of life sciences and provide ample of job opportunities in the field of education and industry. Though in its infancy, the College has good faculty from diverse streams and specializations in the biotechnological domain, excellent infrastructure with well equipped laboratories with a good array of various instruments, well stocked library with Wi-fi network. The college campus also includes modern, comfortable and well furnished separate hostels for girls and boys, excellent transport facility, Student's cafeteria, sports complex, Central dispensary, ATM facility etc
