B.Sc. Industrial Microbiology: (Annual system)

Duration: 3 years

            Industrial Microbiology is a branch of microbiology which deals with the utility of microorganisms in industrial production of medicines, food supplements, alcohols, beverages, organic acids, vitamins, enzymes etc and the production of antibiotics, the wonder drugs. The commercially beneficial activities of a large number of bacteria, yeasts, molds, and algae are being exploited for the production of valuable products.

            The programme run in the college is affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala.The instructions for the programme will be divided into three parts (Part-I, II and III) and an annual examination will be held at the end of every year in the month as fixed by the University.

Eligibility: 10+2 Medical/Non-Medical.
