Desh Bhagat Memorial Educational Trust is an educational and charitable trust with a vision to set up and develop educational institutes of higher learning in the area of emerging technologies i.e. Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Information Technology and other professional courses. A number of institutes in the area of emerging technologies are already managed excellently by this trust constituted by farsighted educationists and visionaries. The Management is committed to provide state of the art facilities to the students and conducts education and training programmes so as to satisfy the students’ need vis-à-vis the potential employers. On the basis of their long experience in the field, the management is implementing many quality improvement initiatives.
The Management understands the need and requirement of state of the art infrastructure, environment conducive to learning and strives to improve continuously to maintain global educational standards.To empower women in a profession which was considered to be exclusively for men a few decades ago and to come up with Women Engineering college is not to keep pace with time, but to be a way ahead!!!
About College(SUSCR&T):
Shaheed Udham Singh College of Research and Technology was founded in 2009 by Desh Bhagat Memorial Educational Trust with the mission of defining and establishing a new discipline fusing life sciences with engineering. This college offers postgraduate programmes in M.Sc. Biotechnology & Microbiology and under graduate programmes in B. Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Human Genetics and Industrial Microbiology. These are job oriented courses in the field of life sciences and provide ample of job opportunities in the field of education and industry. Though in its infancy, the College has good faculty from diverse streams and specializations in the biotechnological domain, excellent infrastructure with well equipped laboratories with a good array of various instruments, well stocked library with Wi-fi network.
